CellAED® Ambassador Ben Culff, shares his story with the British Red Cross

April 21, 2024

Knowing what to do in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) can mean the difference between life and death.

Recently, Ben Culff, SCA survivor and CellAED® Ambassador, teamed up with the British Red Cross to share his story and highlight the importance of early intervention.

“Being a young cardiac arrest survivor, my experience gives me the privilege of connecting with younger people who might not consider sudden cardiac arrest a risk. Helping to create resources like this is a perfect way to push for CPR and defibrillator awareness in a younger audience,” said Ben.

“Educational videos such as this one have an unquantifiable impact and being involved feels like the best way to payback for the extra time I’ve been given.”

As an advocate for SCA awareness and increased automated external defibrillator (AED) access, Ben has partnered with CellAED® to get more AEDs into homes and businesses where they are needed most.

While different in appearance, all AEDs are designed to be easy-to-use and come equipped with voice instructions to guide you through CPR and defibrillation.

Representing the latest innovation in AED technology, CellAED® can be applied to someone in seconds with its unique SNAP PEEL STICK™ application.

A fully automatic AED, CellAED® can be used by anyone and does not require the user to push any buttons to deliver a shock, eliminating the need for complex decision-making during an emergency.

We encourage you to watch and share the video to help arm yourself and others with the knowledge and tools that could make all the difference in case of an emergency.

Remember, if you witness someone who is unconscious, not breathing, or not breathing normally:

- Call Emergency Medical Services
- Begin CPR
- Grab your CellAED® or have someone grab it for you
